On a recent trip to Costco, La Victoria Salsa Suprema was on our shopping list. Unfortunately and much to our disappointment Costco only carries a competitor brand. So we left Costco without any Salsa. We waited until we could get to our local Safeway where we were able to replenish our supply of our favorite La Victoria salsa. La Victoria is the best! The attached picture (below) is of my wife and I. It was taken near the Hamptons on Long Island during a recent visit to the East coast. Jim Jensen

T-Shirts For Stories

If you're part of the La Vic Club, you received an email last night looking for your La Vic story. We asked, 'why would you call yourself an Authentic La Victoria Fan?

And since we have a pretty good stock of t-shirts here, we offered a "La Victoria - Since 1917" T-shirt to the first 50 submitters.

Either because the Slater Family of Puyallup, WA are the TOP Authentic La Vic Fans, or they jumped on their email before everyone else is open for debate. Regardless, here's their story (and beautiful picture as well!)

"We put La Victoria on everything. We keep one bottle in the fridge at home and my husband keeps one in the fridge at work :-)"

We'll be sending two regular sized t-shirts, and one of the smallest we can find (it may fit junior La Vic Fan in a few years!)

La Victoria Fresh Pack

One of the many things we're proud of at La Victoria is the freshness of the ingredients we use to make our products. Since 1917, La Victoria has been made in the heart of some of the richest farm land in America, using recipes that have been handed down for generations. Our tomatoes, chiles, jalapeños, garlic and onions are harvested, and then go straight into making La Victoria.
So while many other Salsa and Taco Sauce brands dehydrate their ingredients for shipment by rail to production factories, we wait for this time of year... the tomato harvest! Right now, we're gearing up for another season of picking and packing La Victoria! Pretty soon, we'll get some video up on this blog so you can see our salsa being made first hand.

We hope you love tasting La Victoria as much as we love making it!

Make sure you check your Sunday newspaper this weekend (June 29, '08). Most newspapers west of the Rockies will have two coupons for La Victoria products - one for $.50 off any 24oz La Victoria Salsa, and a second for $.75 off any two La Victoria items.

We're sending these out just before the 4th of July holiday, in the hopes that you can add some La Victoria to spice up a get-together with friends and family.

Greetings from La Victoria! It's been a big year for the Original Salsa (Since 1917!) - we updated our labels, we launched a Rewards program, and now we're launching our first Blog!
